A note on how documents are read
We want to be precise here, because it matters. Kairos runs on your firm's computer, but to read a page it sends the image over an encrypted connection to Anthropic's AI service in the U.S., which doesn't train on it. During the free beta it passes through our U.S. server, which stores none of it, and questions you ask Ask Kairos go the same way, with Social Security numbers masked first. That provider is covered by a data processing agreement and keeps the data only for a limited period. What you won't find is a portal for you or your clients to upload to.
